Introduction of cotton direct injection printing process

Cotton direct injectionThe transfer printing process is relatively simple, the main conditions are temperature, pressure and time.

1. Transfer temperature

The transfer temperature depends on factors such as the optimal temperature for sublimation dyeing using dyes, the heat resistance of the fiber and the thermal transfer time. Generally, transfer printing is performed when the indicated temperature of the transfer printing machine is 190~230~C. It is more difficult to accurately determine the actual transfer temperature. Strictly speaking, the indicated temperature of the transfer printing machine is not equal to the actual transfer temperature. It is related to the processing accuracy of the heating roller, the circulation amount of the heat carrier oil, and the method of loading.

At higher temperatures, transfer printing can be completed in a short time. From the perspective of production efficiency, it is hoped to adopt the highest possible transfer temperature without making the hands of the printed fabric feel the impact.

2. Transfer pressure

In the case of a flat plate imprinting machine, use 10kPa as the standard transfer pressure. If the pressure is insufficient, the transfer paper and the printed fabric will not fit closely enough, the printed pattern will be uneven, and the color will not be clear; on the contrary, if the pressure is too high Large, the feel and style of the printed fabric will also change.

RollerGarment printing machineIn order to make the transfer paper and the printed fabric have a close overlap, the blanket must be tightly wrapped on the surface of the heat roller, and the appropriate pressure is generally controlled at 12kPa.

Vacuum negative pressure heat transfer machine, under negative pressure (13.3kPa) can get good coloring and penetration effect, and the printed fabric feels good.

3. Transfer time

In actual processing, the transfer time is 15-45s. Transfer temperature, fiber types, organization and variety of woven fabrics and knitted fabrics will affect the transfer time.

Regarding the suitable transfer conditions of various fibers, there are different reports in domestic and foreign data, but the general situation is shown in Table 13-5.

4. Color fastness

The color fastness of the transfer printing fabric mainly depends on the following three factors: the fabric being processed; the transfer paper used is actually the dye printed on the transfer paper; the process conditions of the transfer printing.

Taking polyester as an example, its color fastness is:

Light fastness (xenon lamp) medium to good

Washing fastness (50~C) is very good

Perspiration fastness (acid + base) very good

Dry cleaning fastness (perchloroethylene) is very good

Good dry and wet rubbing fastness ~ very good

Currently,Treadmill printing machineThe light fastnesses of blue and green are significantly lower than that of red, yellow and orange. After research and improvement by the dye factory, some improvements have been made.
