The products can be printed so perfectly that they are cured by UV lamps. The UV lamps use ultraviolet curing technology, which not only has a strong three-dimensional impression, but also is corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant.


When the uv printer is working, the drying of the ink mainly depends on the ultraviolet radiation of the uv lamp. If the power of the uv lamp is insufficient, it will lead to poor drying of the uv ink. The power of the uv lamp is the radiant energy of the uv light, also known as penetration.


First of all, it must meet the requirements of spectral wavelength and power density absorbed by UV ink. If the power of the uv lamp is not enough, no matter how long the light is, no matter how many times the UV curing device is used, the product will not be fully cured. On the contrary, it will also cause the uv ink surface layer to age, seal, become brittle, etc. At the same time, the adhesion of the ink is not good, which will make the interlayer bonding of the overprint poor. Because low-power uv light cannot penetrate the bottom of the ink layer, the bottom is not cured or cured insufficiently. The reason is that it has a certain relationship with the daily operation of the staff, which is mainly manifested in these aspects.


1. After replacing the uv lamp, the use timer of the UV lamp was not reset, which caused the use time of the UV lamp to exceed the service life without knowing it.

2. Do not pay attention to the cleaning of the surface of the uv lamp. After long-term use, the reflector of the UV lamp is too dirty, resulting in the loss of reflected energy of the UV lamp (the reflected energy can account for about 50% of the power of the uv lamp).

3. The uv lamp power configuration is unreasonable, and the radiation energy generated when the UV lamp power configuration is lower than the bottom is relatively reduced, and the uv ink cannot be dried normally at this time.


For digital t-shirt printing machines, we must ensure that the UV lamps work within their effective service life and replace the UV lamps that have exceeded their service life in time.
